Products

Students will create a birdhouse or feeder using sustainable materials, focusing on how it benefits local wildlife. They will also design and produce a simple toy or game from recycled materials, aiming to raise funds for a local charity. Additionally, students will craft personalized greeting cards for various occasions using art supplies and digital tools, culminating in a classroom event to sell them and support a community cause. Each product will be developed through teamwork and creativity, with an emphasis on understanding the value creation process and marketing strategies.

Launch

To kick off the learning experience, students will participate in a 'Mini-Market Simulation' where they role-play as buyers and sellers in a mock marketplace. This hands-on activity introduces them to the dynamics of supply and demand, pricing, and customer interaction. It sets the stage for their own product creation and sale, encouraging them to think critically about how businesses operate and how they can apply these principles to their projects.

Exhibition

At the end of the project, organize a "Community Market Day" where students set up booths to showcase and sell their products to family members, teachers, and community members. Each group will present their product, detailing the problem it addresses, the materials used, and the process they followed. This event will allow students to interact with buyers, practice their sales pitches, and experience the excitement of entrepreneurship. Proceeds from sales can be donated to a local cause, reinforcing the value of community contribution.
