Students will create a digital portfolio that includes multimedia presentations, research papers, and reflective essays analyzing Enlightenment thinkers and their impact on modern democratic societies. They will also produce a podcast episode exploring the historical and modern significance of salons and coffee shops for dialogue and idea exchange. Additionally, students will develop an interactive digital timeline showcasing the influence of Enlightenment ideas on individual rights and governance, featuring multimedia content and virtual reality experiences.

Launch

This activity sets the stage for exploring Enlightenment philosophies and their relevance to modern-day scenarios, fostering an engaging start to the project.

Exhibition

Students will host a 'Philosopher's Fair' where they create interactive booths to showcase the Enlightenment ideas of Locke, Montesquieu, Rousseau, and Hobbes, complete with engaging activities that connect these philosophies to current societal issues. Additionally, a 'Rights Revolution Rally' will be organized, featuring student speeches and multimedia presentations that demonstrate the influence of Enlightenment ideas on modern democracies. Community members and peers will be invited to engage in discussions and reflect on the relevance of these ideas in today's world.
