Purpose

Students will engage in a dynamic process of setting and achieving personal goals by creating digital portfolios that document their journey. Through peer review and digital storytelling, they will develop strategies to track progress and maintain motivation. This experience encourages collaboration, reflection, and creative expression, allowing students to visualize their aspirations and plan actionable steps towards their long-term goals.

Learning goals

Students will develop and articulate long-term personal goals, identifying sequential action steps to achieve them. They will engage in peer review to refine their strategies and overcome challenges, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Through creating and maintaining a digital portfolio, students will regularly reflect on their progress, utilizing multimedia tools to document their journey. By participating in a Digital Storytelling Showcase, students will enhance their communication skills and gain valuable feedback to stay motivated and on track toward their goals.

Launch

Begin the lesson with a 'Digital Storytelling Showcase' where each student presents a multimedia narrative of their personal goals and the path they plan to take. Encourage students to use creative elements like videos, images, and voiceovers to vividly illustrate their aspirations. This interactive session will not only set the stage for the project but also foster a collaborative environment where students can offer constructive feedback and build a supportive community.

Exhibition
